The County Clerk's Vital Records Office is Moving

We will be closed on Thursday, November 19 and Friday, November 20, to move to our new location of 141 E. Apple Avenue. See map below for directions or click here for a map in PDF. We will be located on the second floor of the Central Services Building in the Muskegon County Governmental Complex South Campus. We will be ready to serve you at 8 a.m. on Monday, November 23! Please note, the County Clerk's Circuit Court Records office will remain in the Michael E. Kobza Hall of Justice on the sixth floor.

Do your travel plans require a passport?

On June 1, 2009, U.S. citizens must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land boarders and sea ports of entry. Please check out the passport section of the County Clerk's website for passport requirements, come prepared! Fee for U.S. Department of State must be in the form of a check or money order! We can help with photo's for $15 a set! If you were born in Muskegon County, check our website to see if you may purchase your birth certificate in our office for $15.
