Note: Public Participation - Persons may address the Commission during the time set aside for Public Participation or at any time by suspension of the rules. Comments shall be limited to two minutes for each participant, unless time is extended prior to the public participation period by a vote of a majority of the commission.
The Community Development/Strategic Planning Committee met on May 15, 2008; it was recommended, and I move:
CD/SP08/05 - 10 To approve a contribution to the Muskegon Heights Festival in the amount of $3,000.00 - funding to come from the CVB marketing budget.
CD/SP08/05 - 11 To approve a contribution of $3,000.00 to the Miss Michigan Pageant to come from the CVB marketing budget.
The Transportation Committee met on May 15, 2008; it was recommended, and I move:
TR08/05-14 To authorize an increase in Multi-Ride Bus Pass prices for the Muskegon Area Transit System service, as presented, to be effective June 15, 2008.
TR08/05-15 To approve awarding the purchase of an airport field tractor to the low bidder, Sparta Farm & Lawn Equipment, in the amount of $35,500.
TR08/05-16 To approve awarding the repair of the Airport's Hangar #3 roof to the low bidder, Thermal-Tec/Michigan, in the amount of $25,966.
