The Courts/Public Safety Committee met on July 1, 2008, it was recommended and I move:
CPS08/07 - 28 To adopt the Letter of Understanding between the County of Muskegon and Muskegon Family Care to provide medical services to the Muskegon County Juvenile Detention Center and that those services be compensated at the rate of Two Thousand and 00/100 ($2,000.00) Dollars per month or the annualized rate of Twenty-Four Thousand and 00/100 ($24,000) Dollars, through September 30, 2008, and that a request for proposal be let for these services commencing on October 1, 2008.
CPS08/07- 29 To approve the FY08 VOCA Amended Agreement which transfers $1,830 from labor costs to operating line items in the amount of $1,830 and to amend the County’s budget to reflect the amendment effective immediately.
CPS08/07 - 30 To approve submission of the Prosecutor’s FY2009 Cooperative Reimbursement Contract application in the amount of $323,172.
CPS08/07 - 31 To authorize the Sheriff’s Office to purchase 25 mobile laptop docking stations for an approximate cost of $15,000 and increase the FY2008 Sheriff’s revenue and expenditure budgets accordingly.
The Human Resources Committee met on July 1, 2008, it was recommended and I move:
HR08/07 - 45 To authorize the Health Department to extend the current veterinary services contract for an additional three years for required veterinarian services for the Vector Control program.
HR08/07 - 46 To authorize the Purchasing Department to solicit bids on behalf of the County of Muskegon, Medical Examiner Program for removal/transfer service of human remains.
HR08/07 - 47 To appoint Michelle P. Elieff, MD, as Deputy Medical Examiner for Muskegon County.
HR08/07 - 48 To authorize the reclassification of BPN#X55004 budgeted in the Community Mental Health Brinks Residence from Mental Health Therapist to Supports Coordinator/MI effective July 21, 2008.
HR08/07 - 49 To authorize the Community Mental Health Services of Muskegon County Director to sign a contract with Voices for Health, Inc., for the delivery of Interpretation Services, effective from June 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009 at the rates listed on Attachment A to the Board motion, not to exceed $5,000.00 for the term of the contract.
HR08/07 - 50 To authorize the Community Mental Health Services of Muskegon County Director to sign a contract with Eugene Biegelman P.A. for the delivery of 8-12 hours per week of Physician Assistant Services, effective from July 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009 at the rate of $72.56 per hour and $25.00 per after-hours consultation, not to exceed $48,760.00 for the contract period.
HR08/07 - 51 To authorize the Community Mental Health (CMH) Services of Muskegon County Director to sign a contract with Jane Dyer, LMSW, ACSW, to provide outpatient mental health services at a rate of $90.00 for an Initial Assessment, $45.00 for Individual Therapy of 20-44 minutes’ duration, $90.00 for Individual Therapy of 45-74 minutes’ duration, and $90.00 for Family Therapy as authorized by CMH Access, not to exceed $5,000.00 effective June 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009.
HR08/07 - 52 To authorize the Community Mental Health Services of Muskegon County Director to amend the contract with Pioneer Resources, Inc., to increase the rate by sixty two cents ($0.62) per ride from $6.60 to $7.22 per client one way trip, effective June 1, 2008 through September 30, 2008 and increase the annual cap by $12,400.
