Park Fees
Muskegon County Board of Commissioners have set fees for activities and facilities to offset costs for operation, maintenance and improvement of the county parks. The Board of Commissioners establishes rates for campsites, lodges, shelters and permits annually.
Motor vehicle permits are required at Pioneer Park May 1 through September 30 and at Meinert and Twin Lake Park from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day. Permit options are daily and annual permits.
Currently most County Parks only accept cash and checks. Credit cards are only accepted at Pioneer Park at this time.
Reservation of Park Facilities
Muskegon County Parks do not accept reservations for individual campsites. Reservations can be made for the Pioneer Park group camping area, picnic shelters and the picnic lodges. To reserve these facilities, please call the Pioneer Park office at (231) 744-3580 on or after the first business day of each year.
