Veterans
Muskegon County has received the Silver level Veteran-Friendly Employer certification from the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA), making it one of the few counties in Michigan to achieve this. This award highlights Muskegon County’s commitment to hiring and supporting veteran talent.
The county offers a Veteran's Hiring Preference Policy to assist job-seeking veterans. For more information on how military service can benefit you, as well as the requirements for the hiring preference, click the links provided.
