The Muskegon County Juvenile Detention Center (MCJDC) is a secure 32-bed facility Court Operated Facility (COF) that functions under the auspices of the Muskegon County 14th Circuit Court- Family Division. Youth are referred to the JDC by the Family Court or one of its designees. Only youth accused of or adjudicated for law violations are placed in detention.
