Citizen's Guide
The purpose of the Citizen’s Guide is to provide more transparency of local unit finances to the citizens. The intent is to provide a simple graphical presentation of the most important financial measures, in a manner that can be easily understood by the average citizen.

Debt Service Requirements (PDF)
The purpose of the Debt Service Requirements is to provide a comprehensive listing of all Muskegon County annual debt service requirements beginning with the current fiscal year through the debt retirement of each applicable debt issuance.

Performance Dashboard (PDF)
The purpose of the Performance Dashboard is to present financial and operating measures that are most important to Muskegon County and its citizens. These measures are fiscal stability, economic strength, public safety and quality of life.

Projected Budget (PDF)
The purpose of the Projected Budget is to present the current as well as the subsequent fiscal year budget for the county General Fund in a format that can be easily understood by the average citizen.

Summary of Unfunded Accrued Liabilities (PDF)
The purpose of the summary of unfunded accrued liabilities is to identify Muskegon County’s unfunded liabilities related to employee pensions and Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB). The summary includes unfunded accrued liabilities as well as percentage funding for each year beginning in 2016 through the most recent actuarial valuations.
